A finely crafted replica of the swords once used by the Japanese Military. This sword features a 27 inch stainless steel blade with a blood groove running almost the entire length of it. The saya (scabbard) has a black lacquer finish to it, giving it a nice shine. Cast metal has been used for the fittings adorning the saya. Cast metal has also been used on the butt of the handle as well as the tsuba (guard). The Tsuba has been set with a flower design in each corner. The handle is black cord wrap around imitation rayskin. The entire sword measures 40 ½ inches overall.
