Truly Traditional Chinese Straight Sword (Jian) that is full functional and sharp for serious practitioners of Chinese Swordsmanship & Test Cutting. Each Huanuo sword is individually hand forged of high carbon steel and polished by hand to a mirror finish with a pronounced central ridge. These Jian blades are 30" (76 cm.) long plus or minus 1/2" and each jian on its own, without the scabbard, weights 2 lb. (.9 kg.) plus or minus 3 oz. The solid brass fittings are mounted on a wooden scabbard.
