Deriving its name from the style of sword which memorialized King Charles I, who was executed in 1649, The Mortuary Hilt Swords steel basket is decorated with scrolled foliage . The blade is unsharpened, with a 1/16 edged and a rounded tip, complying with the combat rules of many re-enactment societies.
