Fully Functional Tachi Sword
Worn outside the sash in a hanging fashion the Tachi is an intimidating warrior's sword. Vividly colored and designed, the blade is tempered and hand polished Toledo carbon steel authentically crafted and meticulously worked to create a practical sword and nickel plated for protection. The handle is blue silk-braid over a traditional blue and gold pattern. The hand guard is patterned with a gold dragon overlay on each side. The scabbard is lacquered aluminum and features a traditional Sageo which is the cord for attachment to the Obi (belt). The brass accents featured fields of mounted samurai and the wrappings continue the blue on gold theme.
